Exclamation Sluggo Down

I can't believe no one has posted any news about Sluggo going down. Info is still vauge, but from what I heard he tried to fly and he just didn't have enough lift.

We all hope the best...

It was a very bad crash. I was right behind him when it happened. Let's all pray for a speedy recovery. We are going to the hospital today to see him.

From what I've gathered last night the bike is fine. Wayne has an "open book pelvic fracture". He's very lucky. I did some research on the fracture and this kind of injury comes with an associated mortality rate of 40-60%.

I spoke with him yesterday briefly and his spirits sounded high considering his situation.

He is scheduled for surgery Thursday so everybody please keep Sluggo in your prayers. If you want to pay him a visit he is at University hospital in New Orleans. Last I spoke with Vicky they are trying to transfer to Ochsner in Kenner.

Troy, where the hell did you get your data?

Cited mortality rates for pelvic fractures range from 3-20%.

I spoke with Acadiana dirt riders, they are going to build a bridge over that ravine just like the one in the Spillway.
OH, that's right, different scenario, same result.
but really hope everything works out good for you Sluggo.

I guess you can't believe everything you read online right? I dug it up from some medical site. I definitely didn't make it up.
